The truth is, it's not the age of the deer, or whether it's a buck or doe, but it's the care taken in cutting and wrapping your deer that determines the quality of your venison.
Too many times we as hunters will spend hundreds of dollars on a our tackle, clothes, an ATV, licenses, but when it comes to the food we put on the table, we hate to think about investing in our family's groceries. A good hunter knows it doesn't end with the shot. We still have to get the deer from field to freezer.
At Flatlander Farms we're dedicated to providing the best tasting cuts of venison from your hard earned trophy. You've put your time and effort into the hunt, let us take it from here.
We will cape, clean, bone-out and cut your deer and have it ready for pick up in vacuum sealed packaging. We never use band saws to cut your deer as the bone dust will ruin the flavor of the meat and introduce nerve tissue to your food, increasing the risk of exposure to CWD and other diseases.
We gladly grind your venison burger at no extra charge and can even cape your deer in preparation for taxidermy. We process one deer at a time and treat each one as though it was our own.
